We’ve got a treat for you today! Miranda and Sam’s Oglethorpe University engagement photos are special to us for so many reasons!
First, you may recognize these two from their photos at Arabia Mountain last fall. They contacted us to photograph their little family of three and celebrate the season. We had the best time together, and not before long, we were chatting about their big day and photographing their engagement photos! Well..here we are! We drove down to Atlanta one evening to capture Miranda and Sam where their love began – Oglethorpe University – and where their marriage will begin – Piedmont Park. It was so special to witness their love and document their photos at a special place. Often times, we are hunting for the prettiest light, architecture, and fields for photos. Can you believe we got all that at places that are truly special to these two!?
This leads us to the REAL reason this engagement was a special one for us!
TWO OF THE MOST CARING, SWEET, AND FUN PEOPLE
From start to finish, Miranda and Sam are two of the most caring, sweet, and fun people. They are so patient with each other, and with their sweet dog, Fira. Anyone who owns a dog knows that patience is hard to muster up when your dog has a mind of its own – but these two were like professionals. Not only this – but Oglethorpe University has a special place in Haley’s heart too! She attended the school her freshman year of college to play tennis! The campus radiates a joyful and friendly atmosphere and its architecture will transport you to another world. It wasn’t until mutual friends connected Miranda and Sam to us after college that we met these two. What a small world!
Miranda and Sam, we’ve been looking forward to your Oglethorpe University engagement photos all year, and it was even better than we imagined! We loved exploring OU and Atlanta with you and capturing all the joy the two of you share! We are SO excited for your wedding!
