The Night Before
The Davidsons hosted their rehearsal dinner at the Conservancy in Jasper, complete with beautiful ‘something blue’ details by Prissy Plate, joyful reunions, and heartfelt toasts. The perfect way to kick off their wedding weekend with their guests.
A special request from the groom, a lover of all things knives and blades, to be able to cut his groom’s cake, by Cake Envy, with his machete.
Abbey & Callen’s Northeast GA Mountain Wedding Day
Surrounded by so much love and the North Georgia mountains, Abbey and Callen promised forever back in June at The Venue at Sharp Mountain! Cheering on these newlyweds alongside their sweet sweet friends and family was so easy. It was a joy and honor to witness them coming together as one during their Northeast GA mountain wedding day.
The Details
The details, exuding a soft and refined aesthetic with a hint of blue, set the stage for the luxurious elegance of the day. With a curated invitation suite by Lindsey Ellen Paper Co complete with two watercolor variations of the venue and beautiful mountains, florals from Natalie Durham, and the couple’s personal touches – these details gave a clear picture of the couple’s artistic vision for the Northeast GA mountain wedding weekend.
Getting Ready
The First Looks
When we took Abbey’s father and brother out for their first look, excitement was in the air. We overheard sweet conversations of them guessing what type of dress Abbey would have picked out. Spoiler alert – they guessed it right!
Callen was overwhelmed with emotions all morning waiting to see his bride for the first time. This emotional first look and private vow sharing was just a glimpse into the love that would be present during their emotional wedding ceremony.
The Wedding Party
Abbey and Callen were surrounded by their wedding party, comprised of their closest friends and family. This group brought tons of fun and laughter to the day. The bridesmaids and groomsmen offered unwavering support and positive vibes throughout the day. They each brought a unique personality and perspective to make their day truly one-of-a-kind.
Northeast GA Mountain Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was an emotional event with the Northeast GA mountains as the backdrop. With their closest loved ones around them, Abbey and Callen shared vows and exchanged rings guided by Callen’s grandfather as their officiant. He shared sweet stories and anecdotes about “Cabbey”, their ship name ;), and their long relationship so far as high school sweethearts. They invited their family up to pray with them to end the ceremony, before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.
Golden Hour Portraits
The Party
After the cake cutting and first dances, the dance floor quickly filled with guests, lighting up the room with excitement. They passed out milkshakes, the couple’s favorite treat, and danced with fun glasses, giant glow-sticks, and guitars. The night ended with a classic sparkler exit on their way to their getaway car. A picturesque wedding to the perfect Northeast GA mountain wedding day.
